Music Hall turntables first saw the light of day in 1998. They are manufactured in the Czech Republic in a factory that continued, throughout the Soviet Era, to make high quality turntables despite growing interest in CDs. Music Hall has developed a cohesive and logical range of turntables. All are designed to extract a musical and satisfying presentation from that fabulous medium we call vinyl. From the least expensive MMF-2.2 to the flagship MMF-9.1 all our turntables deliver incredible sound and value for money. All are fitted with expensive cartridges from Music Hall or Goldring. Music Hall electronics evolved after a trip to China in 2001. The factory that manufactures them is a small, family owned business run by an ex physics teacher. A few years ago Chinese teachers earned little so Mr. Li, in order to supplement his salary, started making Hi Fi. This small concern developed into one of the most sophisticated manufacturers in southern China. The first product we produced was the cd25, a derivative of an existing CD player. It has now developed into a range of value for money products that incorporate two integrated amps (the a25.2 and its big brother the a50.2) the cd25.2 CD player and a 2-channel high end receiver, the Music Hall maven. The latest additions are the dac25.2 D/A converter and the pa1.2 phono amp. |
